Hill House Nursing Home hosted our annual charity Garden Party this year on Friday 13th July, and raised a fantastic £2,082 for the Families Supporting Care charity. The weather wasn’t on our side and most of the activities had to take place indoors, but never the less the day went really well.
Attended by many friends and families of the residents and local supporters from Farnham, Fleet, Farnborough, and Aldershot, the afternoon was a great success. Entertainment for the residents included guess the name of the teddy, a performance from the Note Perfect and Community Choir, guess the weight of the cake, a raffle, and a cake and toy stall. For the children throwing a wet sponge at Colin proved popular, as did the bouncy castle.
These events are only possible with the help and support of our local community, and everyone has again been very generous, so thank you – we really do appreciate your contributions.
