On Friday 19th June we celebrated NAPA Open Day.
“NAPA” stands for the National Activity Providers Association which is a registered charity and membership organisation for all those interested in increasing activity opportunities for older people in care settings.
As we are a NAPA member, we strongly support the vision and values of NAPA and we always look forward to our yearly Open Event.
Faithful to our tradition, we put together a Staff Talent Show, which was again a great success, enjoyed by residents, relatives, guests and staff.
Five fantastic teams from the three homes took part in the competition. The Best Dressed Team was judged to be the Hill House Cheerleaders.
The award for the Funniest Act this year went to Hill House Adminons (my personal favourite as part of the admin team :).
And the winner of the Best Overall Act was Woodlands Olympians putting on a fantastic performance to deserve the best overall title.

Residents found the different acts very funny and entertaining. To top up our celebration we finished with a lovely afternoon tea and a nice glass of wine.
