Hill House Nursing and Dementia Home threw a covid safe barbeque and garden party, for all their residents, care partners and staff on Sunday 11th July. This was to celebrate its 10th Anniversary of caring for the elderly of Farnham and Fleet. Also, it was to celebrate the fact that all of the Hill House staff have now all been doubly vaccinated for covid.
Over the last 10 years Hill House and its staff have cared for over 400 different individuals who have required nursing care. It is part of the family owned group of Woodlands and Hill Brow, which was established over 45 years ago and has cared for over 2000 different elderly individuals. The group of 4 homes located in Farnham and Fleet are still owned by the Lee Family who consider it a real honour to care for the elderly in society.
The event was enjoyed by the residents, their relatives and the homes staff. It helped to raise over £1000 for the homes chosen charity Family Supporting Care which helps provide funding for residents who’s own funds become depleted. The residents favourite activities on the day where the Pig Racing, the wonderful singing by Natasha and of course the Raffle.
Alison wanted to mark the occasion by thanking all the staff for their hard work. The relatives and residents for their support of Hill House over the last 10 years, and also to take the time to remember the residents who had passed away.
