Over the last 10 years Hill House has built up a strong team of carers, nurses, domestic and kitchen staff. All the staff are permanently employed and so they really get to know the residents and how to care for all of Hill Houses residents. Hill House has never used agency staff and 100% of the staff are now vaccinated. The homes management is over seen by the Lee Family who have cared for the elderly in Farnham and Fleet for over 40 years.
It is a well known fact that being part of a community has a positive impact on our mental wellbeing. Hill House works with the residents, their families and the local community to build a real strong and happy community within the home. There is now lots of different and safe ways for families and friends to visit and be part of Hill Houses family through an innovative care partnership scheme.
Hill House employs 3 full time activities coordinators who provide an interesting and stimulating programme of activities and events 7 days a week, for residents to join in if they choose to. These range from arts and crafts, gardening club, cookery club, music and movement, pet therapy, quizzes and word searches to afternoon teas, barbeques and pamper afternoons. Since April the home have resumed trips out on the minibus to keep up links to the local areas of Farnham and Fleet.
It is the Lee family’s commitment and belief to care for the residents who live at Hill House is if they were their own family members. Hill House specialises in caring for the elderly who need nursing care, and help support residents living with Dementia, Parkinson’s, Diabetes, strokes, heart failure and other respiratory conditions.
