Maturing Gardens at Hill House
On the first anniversary of taking new residents in to Hill House, we are delighted to see that the gardens are maturing nicely. Last Spring, even before the building was completed, we had planted out the borders, hedges and trees so it is wonderful to see how well they have taken and are maturing. Amazing how much a little warm weather helps!
There are benches dotted around the pathways where residents and their families can enjoy being outside when the weather is warm enough. The lawn and safe garden to the south are always bathed in sunlight and a popular spot for residents to sit together for tea in the afternoon.
The gardeners come every week to mow the lawns, trim the hedges and deadhead the plants – all to ensure the gardens are looking at their best whatever the time of year.
