Scottish Week

We celebrated Burns Night and our themed week with a taste of Scotland at Hill House.

Our cooking club got things started by baking traditional shortbread. Throughout the week we explored a range of Sccotish foods, and also sampled a wee dram of whiskey during a relaxed tasting session.

There was also tartan craft activity and we kept moving with a Caber Toss Challenge! We hope you enjoy the photos of our best moments this week.

Outing

Residents enjoyed a trip out to Squires Garden Centre on Wednesday afternoon. They enjoyed coffee and cakes in the cafe, and afterwards had a look around the centre at the plants and animals.

Perfect company, perfect outing!

Tinkerbell & Flowers

Our Pet Therapy Dog Tinkerbell always brings such warmth and joy to the home, brightening everyone’s day!

We also love having our regular flower arranging club, which brings the garden into the home.

Photos of the Week

Scottish tartan craft, Caber Toss Challenge, lots of fun for all! The celebrations culminated on Burn’s Night with a delicious lunch featuring salmon, neeps and tatties, followed by a sweet treat of ice-cream, shortbread and caramel whiskey sauce. We hope you enjoy these highlights!
