Hill House Nursing Home is a friendly, family run nursing home where the residents care, welfare and wellbeing always comes first.
The care home is built on the firm foundations set by Gillian Lee, who took residents into her own home in 1976 which then became Woodlands Care Home. Alison, Gillian’s daughter, with her extensive experience of caring and nursing for older people, is following the family traditions and has developed the nursing home based on these established principles.
Our aim is to provide the highest level of care for our residents in a dignified and compassionate way, with the best facilities and equipment in a comfortable nursing home with experienced staff. All of the Hill House staff are permanently employed and we have never used any Agency Staff, ensuring that our staff know our residents and their preferences.
We try to improve the quality of life for those who have chosen to live with us. Our approach is not one routine fits all, but rather a more personal care plan that makes allowances for the individuals’ needs and wishes.
Hill House was rated Outstanding for Care and Good Overall in all other areas in their last inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
We pride ourselves on always being fully staffed and never having to use agency staff.

Nursing Care
Residents at Hill House care home receive full, 24 hour nursing care from our team of highly skilled and experienced nurses and carers.
Dementia Care
Residents receive full 24 hour dementia nursing care from a team of highly skilled nurses and carers, the care home has been designed to help reduce the risk of falls and injury.
Respite and Rehabilitation Care
Respite or short stay care is available at Hill House for those individuals who require a short stay.
Palliative Care
We offer compassionate and outstanding care services to the residents we support at all stages of their lives.

Activities
Our Day Centre has been designed specifically for people with early stages of dementia. We provide day care services in Hampshire and Surrey areas.
