Jane Austen and Literature Week

At Hill House this week we celebrated local author Jane Austen with a Jane Austen and literature themed week. We reminisced about our favourite authors, got creative making pretty book marks, did a Jane Austin quiz, played a book themed bingo game, made jam tarts and Bakewell tarts and enjoyed the beautiful weather out in the garden.

Tinkerbell

Our Pet Therapy Dog Tinkerbell always brings such warmth and Joy to the home, brightening everyone’s day!

Fun in the Sun

Lots of fun, love and laughter in the
sunshine, making the most of the glorious warm weather.

Skittles

On Sunday we enjoyed a lively game of skittles. Competing against each other to knock the most skittles down and be crowned skittle champion.

Happy Birthday

Celebrating with friends and family this very special lady’s 103 birthday!

Flower Arranging

We look forward to our flower arranging activity every week, we always have fun, laughter and conversation, engaging our senses of sight, smell, sound and touch.

Baking

Another favourite activity is baking, bringing together familiar aromas, treasured memories and plenty of smiles. This week we made a tasted a delicious Bakewell tart!
