Summer Holidays

A wonderful week of summer sunshine as we enjoyed a summer holiday themed week. Residents have been reminiscing about places they have been on holiday and feeling the sand between their fingers in the beach sensory box. We had our August summer BBQ, enjoyed seeing and learning about hedgehogs from the hedgehog rescue charity and celebrated a 100th birthday.

On Wednesday afternoon the sun was shining as we all came together to enjoy our August Summer BBQ with family, friends, delicious food and live music.

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside

Our residents enjoyed a lovely seaside reminiscence session, bringing back memories of days spent by the coast. They explored a touch-and-feel sand box. It was a wonderful opportunity to share memories, stories, and experiences from days gone by.

Happy 100th Birthday

What a wonderful day, celebrating this very special ladies 100th birthday, a day of love, laughter, happy memories, family and friends.

Hedgehogs!!

We were delighted to welcome some hedgehog visitors to Hill House, we were thrilled to see them up close and enjoyed the wonderful opportunity to gently stroke and interact with them.

Some photos from our Summer Week! We enjoyed delicious ice cream sundaes, plenty of funny photos and laughter, and lots of time outdoors enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. We enjoyed our favourite activities also, including afternoon teas, balloon bounce and flower arranging, giving plenty of opportunities to get involved, socialise and have fun.
