Space and Air Travel Week

With the Farnborough air show this week and the anniversary of the moon landing we have enjoyed a space and air travel themed week, with galaxy paintings and space picture bingo.
On Wednesday we were honored to share in the wedding blessing celebration of Kate and Chris, and seeing Kate in her beautiful wedding dress.

Our Pet Therapy Dog Tinkerbell always brings such warmth and Joy to the home, brightening everyone’s day!

Goats!!

It’s not only dogs that can make wonderful therapy animals—goats can lift our spirits too!

Our residents recently enjoyed a delightful visit from some friendly goats, who brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and conversation. Their gentle nature, playful personalities, and curiosity created a truly heartwarming experience for everyone.

Birthday’s!

It has been a wonderful week at our home as we celebrated not one, but three special birthdays!

Birthdays are always a joyful occasion, bringing everyone together to share in the celebrations with family, friends, fellow residents, and staff. There was plenty of laughter, delicious cake, and warm wishes as we marked these special milestones.

There has been something for everyone to enjoy, with our residents taking part in a wide variety of fun and engaging activities.

Creativity was in full bloom during our flower arranging session, while balloon tennis brought lots of laughter and friendly competition. Residents also enjoyed spending time outdoors, relaxing in the fresh air and helping with a spot of gardening. Activities such as, skittles, puzzles and games keeping everyone active, entertained and engaged throughout the week. We also made sure to keep hydrated, especially while enjoying the warmer weather.

This week, we were delighted to share in the joy of celebrating the marriage of Chris and Kate. Kate’s father has been a valued member of our home for some time, making this occasion especially meaningful for everyone.

Residents, staff, family and friends all came together to mark this wonderful milestone. It was a truly heartwarming celebration, filled with smiles, laughter and best wishes for the happy couple.

The day was particularly special for Kate’s dad, who was able to be part of such an important family occasion and celebrate alongside his loved ones.
