Our Care Home Facilities
At Hill House Nursing and Dementia home we pride ourselves on having some of the best facilities in Hampshire for our residents and staff to enjoy. All of our bedrooms are large bright and airy with ensuite wet rooms with underfloor heating, internet, satellite tv, phone point and nurse call. The home is set in beautiful landscaped grounds, enabling residents to live comfortably and lead fulfilling and happy lives. Residents are supported and cared for by experienced, qualified nursing and care staff, with no agency staff used.
Beautiful bedrooms
There are 56 large bedrooms with full wet rooms, every room has under floor heating, WIFI, satellite TV, phone point, specialised nurse call and state of the art nursing equipment. All of the bedrooms have large windows with low sills making them light and bright, offering a good view for our residents.
Spacious communal lounges
There are four different spacious communal lounges at Hill House for residents to enjoy. With a variety of different comfortable armchairs, beautiful artwork, underfloor heating and air conditioning to create a comfortable environment for residents to enjoy.
Interesting Activities
At Hill House we employ three full time activities coordinators as we recognise the importance and positive effects that activities can have for our resident’s wellbeing.
Hill House provides a varied and interesting programme 7 days a week, which is tailored to our residents’ interests. We also support residents so they can pursue their own interest and hobbies independently.
Dining and Refreshments
Our diet should be wholesome, nutritious and well balanced, as well as a pleasure in itself. All the meals in our homes are created using 3 key principles, homemade recipes developed around our residents’ preferences, local suppliers are chosen for their quality and taste and lastly our staff for their dedication and passion towards care and food. We can cater for any type of special or specific dietary requirements and needs.
Equipment
At Hill House we have invested in state of the art facilities and equipment. There are three large lifts, air conditioning and under floor heating, WiFi, nurse call systems, different types of hoists and wheelchairs, to full care bathrooms so any residents can enjoy a relaxing bubble bath.
Gardens
Residents and relatives can enjoy our wonderful gardens, all accessed by wide level paths. There are quiet courtyards and two different patios for residents to enjoy, all with year round colour. The gardens provide sensory stimulation and space for residents to enjoy.
