We had an amazing time playing a game that we haven’t played in a while – Giant Scrabble. It’s just like normal Scrabble, but we play on a giant gridded whiteboard. This unique twist not only makes it easier for those with deteriorating eyesight to participate, but it also encourages teamwork and support as we engage in this enjoyable brain exercise.

Our week was made even better with a visit to Chalk in the Park, our loved local coffee shop. It’s always a delight to be surrounded by adorable dogs and cheerful children. And to make it even sweeter, we got to savour the ultimate treat – the last marshmallow – as a well-deserved reward for our hard work.

We gathered with Louise to create beautiful bouquets and arrange them delicately into vases. As we work together, we not only create beautiful floral arrangements but also engage in delightful conversations as a close-knit group. It’s a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of flower arranging while enjoying the company of fellow enthusiasts.

We were filled with excitement Thursday morning as we witnessed the incredible skills of a remarkable lady. She fearlessly took charge of our spring DIY activities, starting with unscrewing the cart and then meticulously sanding it down. But her creativity didn’t stop there! With their expert touch, she transformed the cart into a dazzling pink masterpiece by skilfully applying a vinyl cover.

The room instantly came alive with laughter and chatter, as we embarked on a musical journey that would transport us back in time.
