Our garden-view lounges provided the perfect backdrop for us to showcase our talent in arranging beautiful flowers into vases, creating stunning bouquets. Some of us also took care of repotting vibrant houseplants into larger pots to help them thrive.

On Thursday morning, we assembled for a flower workshop led by Louise. Flowers hold the power to evoke strong emotions in individuals, whether it’s to uplift spirits, offer condolences, or show love and care. Crafting flower arrangements enables us to create touching and significant presentations.

We kicked off our spring cleaning by shining up the silver and brass. To add some excitement, we decided to conduct a household product experiment. Friday afternoon’s cooking club was filled with excitement as we embarked on the journey of recreating a scrumptious pineapple upside-down cake. The process not only brought back fond memories but also sparked nostalgic conversations about the desserts we used to make for our children in the past.

On Saturday morning, we were thrilled to have Tinkerbell, our PAT dog, join us, bringing an abundance of happiness and delight.

Our garden view lounge became the hub of excitement as we came together for a delightful baking club. The unanimous decision was to create irresistible lemon drizzle cupcakes that were filled with a burst of zestiness.

On Sunday, they were fully occupied with their sewing machines, crafting delightful lavender bags that exuded a lovely fragrance. They carefully selected the fabric and ribbon, skilfully cut it to the perfect dimensions, expertly folded it, sewed it together, and finally filled it with dried lavender.

These enchanting creations were then hung on the back of their chairs, as they engaged in lively conversations and exchanged tales of their remarkable sewing endeavours, ranging from transforming school clothes into fashionable attire for their kids to crafting exquisite wedding dresses.
